A friend and classmate shared his work poster. I love what it represents and feel we can all learn from it...
Happy weekend. Be civil!

Since 2006, I have posted 6155 blogs. With this one, 6156. I started using Typepad for my blogs because I followed them during the Natalee Holloway case.
May 26, 2006, my first blog...
"Today is a wonderful day! I watched the Plainview High School graduation on TV tonight. Looks like folks were hot. I enjoyed so much seeing "my" HC-JR-LC members graduate! They are such wonderful kids!!! We do have some great kids in Plainview! Speaking of great kids...Brant Wall graduated tonight, too! Woo-hoo Brant! I love that kid!!!
Zoey Belle is here visiting today & tonight. I love my little grand-dog! Chrissa & B are here for Brandon's great-grandmother's funeral.
Today has been a day of just kicking back. I mowed & edged the yard, but other than that, I just did what I wanted to do!
My new business, Arissa Designs, is doing well. I got my first order for personalized notes. They are so cute! Does anyone need a nice little gift? Give me a call. I also do creative social and business stationery, invitations, etc.
Well, this is a crazy world with some crazy people in it. Maybe if we took the focus off ourselves and put our labor into helping others, then the world would grow into a more compassionate one! At the very least, it would make us feel a sense of accomplishment!"
Time has flown. So much in life has changed. I read this quote today. I find it true. "Getting old is like climbing a mountain; you get a little out of breath, but the view is much better!" Ingrid Bergman
I may have 6155 blog posts, but I bet I have triple that in photos. I often wonder why I do what I do. I think I do it because when I see something beautiful, even with an aged or broken look, I figure that if I see beauty in it, others might, too.
I look at my photos and then at the photos on my Google device, and I am reminded that I know nothing about photography. What I do know something about is bringing a bit of God's beauty to others. God blesses me, and I want to bless others with a moment of joy. I think if I didn't know that God uses me to do this, I would stop. He says to keep going. I will as I climb this mountain of life that I am so blessed with.
I purchased this hat from a local business, and we threw it in the mix when we did our Ushka summer shoot!
When you are pumping gas and you look over and see blue.
God is always seeking you. Every sunset. Every clear blue sky. Each ocean wave. The starry hosts of night. He blankets each new day with the invitation, ‘I am here.’ Louie Giglio

I can't be sure where this photo was taken. My mother, Lorena Etter, is on the right. The girl on the left might be Mary Lou Etter, a cousin. The girl at the bottom right might be sister Virginia Etter. The hanger is interesting in how it is constructed.
In a Galaxy, AN ORIGINAL SPACE FANTASY MYSTERY PLAY, was presented by the Plainview LimeLite players. Our grand-sister JW has enjoyed performing with the troupe for several years. We enjoy supporting her with her love of acting.
This person needed Jesus. He came into her life at the age of six. She asked him to be her Savior, and he has been every day. This is her natural-born neurodivergent face. But through Jesus, she knows worthiness, trust, and joy.
Do YOU know Him?
Happiness is a choice. It is much easier to attain with Jesus as your foundation. Serving others will always bring happiness.
Bitterness needs butter. Butter enhances the flavors of life, and the bitterness will simply be replaced.
We are our thoughts and actions. Negative breeds negative, and joy grows blooms of happiness—contagiously reproducing.
I can't change you, but I know where I stand...on His promises!
He keeps me happy, positive, and filled with joy and hope. I praise him all day long!
