Hear

If we hear and have no faith, then what we hear is never clear.

Headers - #hearing

He went out and sat by the sea

He thought about you, and he thought about me

His reflection shown on the surface clear

A reminder of his purpose here

A blue dragonfly lands, and a ripple flows

Oh, Father, let your people know

The cross I bear, the blood that's shed

In your name, let all be led

To see, to hear

Amazing grace draw near

Holy Spirit, understanding give

Doing for others is Truth to freely live

Sunshine

I need sunshine. The snow was beautiful. I'm thankful the ice storm did not reach us this go-around. The sunshine is a sweet promise that God knows me and provides for me. I'm waiting for Spring & Summer when the warmth soothes me and the new life comes forth.

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:13-14

Backing Up

Backing up to 2010, I was browsing photos and did not remember this one. We were preparing for the coats to be gifted to our community. Ron Warren was leading. My mother, Lorena Dayton, and her sweet friend, Robert Matthews, are there, ready to help. My mom's birthday was the 26th of January. She would be 93.
