Coming back from Lubbock, I was tuned into KWLD, the Wayland radio station, and listening to a preacher. I came in about midway through the talk, but what I did hear spoke deeply to me. He was talking about all of the devotional books and commentaries we have to try and understand God's Word when we simply need to read God's Word. 

How often do we pick up a book for insight into Holy instead of sitting down and digging into the Truth book? I don't think he was saying that books for study should be trashed but pushed aside to let the Word be the strong read that guides.

This permits us to clean out a bunch of books we won't ever read, right??? LOL
