Words
Thursday, July 29, 2021
I love to pull in and see or hear encouraging words, even if part of it has been washed away. God is in the rescue business. Every day He rescues; he does for me.
2 Samuel 22:17-20
“He sent from on high, he took me;
he drew me out of many waters.
18 He rescued me from my strong enemy,
from those who hated me,
for they were too mighty for me.
19 They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
but the Lord was my support.
20 He brought me out into a broad place;
he rescued me, because he delighted in me.

They (Debby & Jimmy) recently had an anniversary so I thought I would share a picture of Debby Duncan Kethersid's bridal party...
Canisters
Tuesday, July 27, 2021
We have these two canisters that are sentimental. The small one, my father, kept his coffee in. It still smells like Folger's. I keep my individually wrapped prunes in it. My two prunes a day healed my severe bone loss. Amazing!
The large canister, my mother kept flour in it. I have my coffee stored in it. I enjoy opening the cabinet and remembering them each morning. God blessed me for sure.
I start my day with pure and amazing water that I purify in a copper pitcher. It awakens my body.
I take liquid Elderberry & Turmeric Curcumin each day for pain. It is the only combination that works for me.
"Life is a song, so sing along." My mother made this pillow. I try to realize joy every day because the Lord is my refuge, strength, and hope!
Promise
Monday, July 26, 2021
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior... — Isaiah 43:2-3
A promise of God...

This is one of my favorite pictures of our children with Clinton's mother, Peggy Wall. She has them busy!!! They loved to help her cook. They can thank her for any skills they learned!

1973
Friday, July 23, 2021
The All-School Reunion is over, and now we look forward to 50 years since graduation in 2023. I'm certainly as surprised as you are that it will be 50 years. Although I'm not feeling 50 years old yet, I may be feeling it by then. LOL
This photo was taken in 1983, 10 years after graduating. Lots has changed since then.
Historical
Wednesday, July 21, 2021
The Hale County Historical Commission is creating an inventory of things in Hale County that are historical. If you own farmland and have an early dugout, the remainder of a building that was a school, business, family cemetery, etc., let us know.
These columns stand as a reminder of the Lena Ware Golf Course entry on this land. Mrs. Ware was an early Plainview pioneer (Hotel Ware).
