He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Matthew 15:13
How about these words, huh? All of those thoughts we have that try to root into our very being, anxious thoughts, yup, they are not God's. They are unwanted weeds. Weeds can look pretty, but I assure you that they will quickly take over everything. Most weeds we find annoying, dry, with thick stalks that break at the surface when we try on our own to remove them. God tends the garden of our soul. He removes completely the thoughts that we can't even see that hurt; he only grows goodness. Anything else is not his, not worthy of intaking or partaking of. How does your garden grow? God created the weeds, and they have a purpose in His plan, but never to be found in our heart song.
If words are seeds,
let flowers grow
from your mouth,
If heart are gardens,
plant those flowers
in the chest of the ones
who exist around you.

Grow kindness, blow goodness seeds, come to His garden, for there is the Prince of Peace.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 Corinthians 4:17
