Lament

Matthew 27:46, the lamentation of Jesus. And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
I believe these words speak clearly to us when we are broken to the point of losing our minds in grief, from a loss, and suffering beyond what we feel is humanly possible; lamenting. Humanity is God's. He loves us in that he came to us in Jesus to save us from ourselves through the sin of Satan's temptation. He gives us, leaves with us a guide, the Holy Spirit. We are never alone, separated from God. He IS the One who can comfort, guide, and is our true connection to hope eternal through redeeming grace.
