So, this happened today. It was not on my radar to get the Covid vaccine. I happened by the injection location at Covenant Health Plainview to drop something by to a friend who was working registration. There was an "extra," and because I am out and around so many people, I decided to enter into the study—Maderna Covid vaccine injection one complete. I have been texted twice since the injection to see if I have had any post-injection symptoms; fatigue, headache, muscle pain, joint pain, chills, nausea, vomiting, fever. I have had a very slight headache, not worth mentioning, but I did check that box. I am a bit tired, but hey, it's the end of the day so, I should be tired, correct? Actually, they say slight side effects are good because this means your body is recognizing the vaccine.
I did ask about the new c/19 strands showing their ugly heads, and, if I understood correctly, the vaccine covers the SARS strands. Of course, we are all created differently, so what works for one may not work as well for another.
Researchers say around 70% of the US needs to get the coronavirus vaccine to stop the pandemic. I don't think we will know until we get there.
I realize some are for this, and some are against it. That's okay.
