Shed the Dead

One Thing

It has been one thing, then another the last two weeks. I'm one who likes a schedule and gets really bummed when things aren't going according to the plan. These two weeks have been tests on my patience and ability to survive. It is mental anguish, and I spend a lot of time with the Holy Spirit at the helm with me gazing into the distance, looking at the beautiful blessings and being thankful for the things going right vs. those that seemed to be piling up.

He Lives

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Matthew 6:25-27  “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?  Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?”

Matthew 6:34  “Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Psalm 121:1-2  I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
