Move On
A Coat of Many Colors

Clinton seemed excited that my birthday present from him came in. Isn't he the best to work through this process for me!

Today, I pulled this leaf from a plant we have. It started out beautiful hunter green. Slowly, over many days the color faded away.

I feel like this leaf represents the stage of my life. I will have lived for sixty-five years soon. I began my life with full-out color. Through the years I've begun to fade. It is life. There is still plenty of energy, enthusiasm, visions, dreams, projects, encouraging, witnessing, serving, left for me to do. I want to serve God until I take my last breath. I'm blessed every day to wake up and breathe in the goodness of the Holy Spirit alive within me. I'm thankful throughout the day for every opportunity to share Truth and serve others. At night, as I close my eyes, these words, "Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Thank you, Lord, for making me whole. Thank you, Lord, for giving to me, your great salvation so full and free.

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
