Like Father, Like Son

We have all felt different from others at some point in our lives. Since we know how it feels to be excluded, made fun of, or invisible, why would we do that to others?

In Christ, God allows us the understanding of being worthy to one, the One that matters.

We will never gain wholeness through others. Others will let us down. Do we let others down?

When we have felt the fire and come through it, then how we respond in love is the gift we give back to God through grateful hearts; by the renewing of our mind in Christ Jesus.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

We all have been there. How do we respond?

Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

Just like the bricks in this picture, we are all different. We are different hues, various sizes, and even though the world looks for beauty, the truth is found in the foundation, the strength of who we are and what we stand for.

In the book of Galatians, chapter 5, verse 14, we read, For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

We are too quick to try and forget our suffering. It is in the suffering that we remember who we are and how God asks us to respond.

Don't throw bricks, build up others with encouragement. We know how it feels. He blesses those who bless!

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
