I have traveled to or through every western state and all but ten or so in the east. Growing up, I traveled somewhere or often multiple somewheres with my grandparents each summer. In 1971, we traveled in "Big Blue," making stops in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming. Our goal was to get to visit Yellowstone National Park.
I remember this trip so vividly because of the colors and beauty. The pictures have faded through the years, but not in my mind.
