Wind Song

The fragrance, Wind Song, was first launched in 1953 and is considered a refined, flowery fragrance. It's filled with coriander, orange leaf, bergamot, lemon, rose, jasmine, amber, and cedar. Its spring-fresh blend reminds me of walking outside on a beautiful spring day. Wind Song is an elegant and sultry, spicy fragrance.

I have never found another fragrance that does not create a headache from the aroma for me. I have been wearing Wind Song over forty years now. I get stopped often asking me what perfume I'm wearing. Last week at a football game a lady grabbed my arm and asked me what perfume I was wearing. My reply is always the same, Wind Song, my only perfume. Of course, they only produce cologne these days. I'm happy, thank you, Prince Matchabelli.

This embroidered art piece is the handiwork of my mother, Lorena Etter Dayton. She was creative through sewing and handwork. I love this piece. It is framed with a cardboard piece on the back from a canned Hunts Tomatoes box.

This is me at about the age I first was introduced to perfume. I believe that I got my first Wind Song set from Sears. (How about that little mouse on my collar?)

When I think of wind, I do think of God's song. Have you ever walked through a snowstorm and listened to the song of the forest trees as God plays them with His wind? If you have not, you should. Of course, don't wander too far or you'll be lost. It's easy to do in a snowstorm.

It's easy to get lost when we veer too far off course from His whisper revealed in His Word, also. Listen for the Holy Spirit wind!!!
