Worship

We all live with the desire to worship. We will open the door for something to take the place of God in our lives if we don't intentionally live for God. It might be another person, someone famous, or our children. It could be a hobby or a good cause we volunteer with. If we are not careful, we will become a worshipper of self; the desire to be praised for our vast knowledge. Whatever is the priority, takes the most time, in our life is what we worship. There is only One who is worthy, Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, the light. No one gets to the Father by bypassing Him. We are designed to love God. When we don't, life becomes more laborious. God first, family, others...and then us and extras. Make sure wherever you are is where God wants you to be. There is freedom there.

Hallelujah! Yes, let his people praise him as they stand in his Temple courts. Praise the Lord because he is so good; sing to his wonderful name. For the Lord has chosen Israel as his personal possession. I know the greatness of the Lord—that he is greater far than any other god. He does whatever pleases him throughout all of heaven and earth and in the deepest seas. He makes mists rise throughout the earth; he sends the lightning to bring down the rain and sends the winds from his treasuries. Psalm 135:1-7

I love this; He does whatever pleases him throughout all of heaven and earth and in the deepest seas. He makes mists rise throughout the earth; he sends the lightning to bring down the rain and sends the winds from his treasuries.

I wonder what all he has in His treasury? He gives so much that goes unnoticed as we move through our days. STOP! Look up. Look down. Look all around. Breathe in, breathe out. Blessings abound. Worship Him alone, for there we find peace.
