Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth. It is for your benefit that I go away, because if I don’t go away, the Counselor will not come to you. If I go, I will send him to you. John 16.7
Thank you, Jesus, for coming, going, sending, saving!!!
Every human has a soul. Our soul is the deepest part of our being and was created by God to contact and receive Him. The human soul, in God's design, waits for the Holy Spirit to fill us up. If never found, we are left with a shell that is never adequately utilized.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour, it is our human soul that is transformed as we become 'new creatures' in Jesus Christ.
I'm a very literal person, so it is, or it isn't. We either have accepted, or we haven't. It's either good or bad. We are either Christ-like, or we are void. Everything is our choice. We determine who we serve every moment of every day. Yes, first we must accept the plan for our Salvation set up by the One who created the air we breathe, the Loving Father. We determine, yes or no, but he never lets it go. He created us for a full relationship, worthy of praise.
Once we say yes, and we continue on living our lives, day in and day out we choose who we serve by the choices we make. This is called sin when we choose 'us' over Holy. It's the realization that God breathed life into us. It is in the recognition of and respect for the One who has always been and IS.
For me, this was the only decision that made any sense. The Truth sets me free on a journey that is alive, full, peace-driven; albeit sin infused (I continue to grow in my understanding of Holy purpose). Yes, I'm a sinner redeemed. I struggle; I let go and let God. I slip, and he helps me stand. I am weak, and he is strong. I am alive because the Spirit is within me. My joy is found in the Lord, even when the world crashes around me. He is my strength, my ever-present help in times of trouble. He makes the way, he leads me beside his stream in this world, and he quenches my thirst by those he blesses my life through, and all he allows my eyes to see. God is my spirit realized fully.
When we take time to enjoy the intricacy of his creation, and that we are the most important in that creation; we must bow humbled. A relationship is His desire; we can know true intimacy, joy, peace, and the fullness of life found in Jesus Christ.
Beautiful Counselor, Savior, Friend.
