There are several things about this picture that make me smile, and none have to do with the little redheaded (that you can't see) girl in the picture. This is me at about 18 months.
I was at Anners (as we called her) Anderson's home across the street from my grandparent's home at 1006 Nassau Street. I was there a lot in my lifetime. Marie Anderson helped my mother with both my brother and me when we were young. That is Marie's picture sitting on the table behind the ironing board. Marie grew up three wonderful children, Heather, Nicholle & David Tom.
Look at the floral drapery that was being ironed. Look at the iron and the cord. Vintage to say the least! I love the rolling horse & the baby doll. I remember neither of them.
Just fun to look back.
