Miss A and Miss D love their twirling friends. They have so much fun. Twirling teaches them so many life skills. It is a wonderful sport.

Our Miss D gets her first award for her basic strut. Pretty good for a three year old to go out in front of so many people and march! Very proud of her!

Fresh Find: I love these little hand painted rocks! I see them in with my plants! Of course, they would be pretty on a table setting, too!

I would like to say that today has been a terrible no good day. I would like to but there have been some good highlights in my day, as well.

I am sick. I am running fever. I feel terrible.

I hope no one I have been around gets sick from me. 

I honestly don't have time to be sick so, I sure hope tomorrow is better.

Onto the good. I got a pedicure. This is my time to sit and read. I get the deluxe pedi because I need the deep foot & leg massage. That's really why I go. An added bonus is painted toes!

I got to promote one of my favorite things today...ARTWALK PLAINVIEW. It is tomorrow evening. We have an awesome group that works so hard to bring this to our community!

I did make it to get a few groceries. I picked up some Blue Bell Fudge Bars...yum!

Oh, I got square chocolate donuts earlier today, too. What a treat.

We got to have Storytime with Ramona Roberts today on the 'Exploring Plainview' blog. This always makes for a good day.

Fresh Find: Some days I want to be like a hot air balloon and just float freely away! Love this artist's work!

I came across this Christmas card with the Etter sisters pictures. Lorena Etter on the left was 5. Virginia Etter on the right was the younger sister. Aren't they precious. Growing up I know they had a fun time. As they became adults they went their separate ways. They are together in Heaven now, where all is perfect!

What we do will be known. Will it haunt us or will it enhance us?

It seems we walk a tight-rope of sorts.

We've always heard that if we do something wrong it will come back to haunt us. I find this to be true. Sometimes others find out about our wrong and then everyone knows. We face humiliation. Other times no one ever knows and we have to live with the burden internally.

I am a sinner saved by grace. I know everyone that knows me thinks I'm perfect ;o) but I am a sinner. We are all living this life making choices. Sometimes we make lousy ones. I like to think that everyone mostly makes good choices. I know that I do try hard to make choices that reflect a life that is God enhanced.

I want to do things that enhance my life in a way that allows others to see something different. That difference is my faith. 

I know that I am forgiven when I ask my Heavenly Father to forgive me when I fail. This doesn't keep Satan from badgering my thoughts with failure reminders.

I may find myself on a tight-rope but I kind of like a tight rope better than a loose one that will let me fall. 

Growth among the boundaries.

Fresh Find: I think I like these earphones!

Psalms 147:8 ... Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who provides rain for the earth, Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.

Revelation 1:7 ... “BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.”

Job 35:5 ... “Look at the heavens and see; and behold the clouds--they are higher than you.”

Something that we can learn from the clouds is that they are ever changing. Some days there are lots of them and other days they are so thin we can't see them with our eyes. Sometimes they are full of rain drops. Sometimes they let them go. I think they must feel refreshed and energized with the release of the drop's weight.

Some days we have clear days. Some days we have clouds that keep the sun at bay. Some days we are full of sorrow. Some days we need to release our pain through tears. Through crying God opens our sky to beauty.

If you read this and are having a "cloudy" day, may you be reminded of your beauty to God. 

Fresh Find: What a fun dog bowl that I can definitely see being used as a part of a centerpiece! Float a flower or candle or turn it over as a candle base. So many possibilities!

There is a song that we sang as kids at church. I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart... Do you remember this song?

I'm not a gardener. I don't have great luck with plants. It is just one more thing that God uses to amaze me. I love the way a tomato plant makes you hands smell. I love fresh tomatoes. I'm not sure if these will continue to grow. I can't even tell you what kind of tomato plant this is that I bought. It likes where it is though. I like this. It brings me joy!

Our daughter sent this picture of Miss "D" tonight. She will get to compete in her basic strut (marching in time to music) at a baton twirling contest soon. She is wearing her mommy's first costume that her sister wore before her. Isn't she adorable!!!

Fresh Find: We have red chairs (ours do not have the tray & side storage) that are similar to this chair. They are so easy to carry and comfortable, too.
