The slang dictionary defines a wrinkle as a new idea; a new aspect of something.  I like this definition of my wrinkling face better than the traditional definition of a small furrow or crease in the skin, especially of the face, as from aging. 

I will believe that every wrinkle is from a new idea that I have been blessed to realize...and there are many.

I have a cute story to tell you and I cherish it.  (paraphrased) Our Miss A and I have talked about her old Ushka and how I have wrinkles because I'm older and was in the sun too much.  Her mommy was putting on moisturizer and Miss A asked her what she was doing and why.  Her mommy said that she was putting it on to help keep her skin soft.  She asked Miss A if she wanted some.  Miss A said yes and we can give some to Ushka cause her face is... and she places her hands to the sides of her face and makes little wrinkly motions with her fingers.  Priceless.

I am so blessed to have every moment that God allows me with the grand-sisters.  They are such a joy!!!  Never a dull moment!!!

Today was a wild day for those in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.  Several tornadoes had people scrambling for cover.  They have sirens there.  I wish we still had a siren warning system, but we don't.  We have a Code Red phone calling system, but I worry that most have not signed up for it. 

We had tornado warnings very often when I was in high school.  We were considered tornado alley.  They alley has shifted through the years.

Clinton's home was destroyed in a tornado in the early 70s here. Today our daughter's family was separated with the grand-sisters at day care, daddy at the office, and mommy on her way to an appointment when the weather broke loose there.  Fortunately the girl's daddy got to the day care to be with them during the nearly 2 hour ordeal. 

This evening Miss A was telling about the "drill" they did at school today.  They all went in one room and read books.  They bent over and covered their heads with their hands.  As a three year old it was just another day with a new activity.  Plus their daddy came to visit. :O)

Gotta love God's protection!

Mark 15:16-20  The soldiers led Jesus away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium) and called together the whole company of soldiers. They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him. And they began to call out to him, “Hail, king of the Jews!” Again and again they struck him on the head with a staff and spit on him. Falling on their knees, they paid homage to him. And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.

The people in today's world often read this scripture and think about how horrible the people were who did this to Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  This scripture applies to us today as much as it did to the people that were there that day.

We say we believe in God, his plan for eternal salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, yet we mock him.

I love springtime and this morning two wonderful individuals got the "purple" memo and made me smile.  God certainly has blessed my life through the wisdom of these two.

Seriously though...everyone was created in the image of the Almighty God and through this comes worthiness.  Let's try to focus on the good in everyone! When we hurt one of his we hurt HIM!!!
