3 strikes and you are out works well in baseball.  Gives others the chance to win the game.  3 strikes and you are out works in the legal system...you do it three times and you get an automatic home run to prison.

So, let's try it with problem kids in school.  You get in trouble 3 times and you get an automatic pass to an alternative campus.  Get 3 strikes there and you go to a juvenile holding facility where you WILL get your education whether you want to or not.  While there you will be assigned a participating spiritual membership that will encourage you.  Upon release, your probation will be spent in continued growth with your PSM.

One, two, three strikes you're out in the school ball game! ;o)
