These are all pictures of my great-grandmother, Lorena Ellison. She died at age 24. My mother is named for her. I don't think I take much after her, not sure. She looks so different in each photo!

My Fresh Find is something you might have to make yourself or wait for. It is the Stiletto Shelf! A great organization tool for those high heels and if you choose to place it outside your closet, it would be a great art form. Just be sure the heels & bottoms of the shoes are clean ;o)

This cartoon picture in today's paper reminds me of something totally not "Olympic" as we saw these past few weeks. It hit me that this is God allowing Jesus to leave carrying the Holy Spirit to leave with us when we accept him as our Savior. Our free Gift!!! Think about it!!!

I have not touched a computer for 2 days. I went to Dallas to see our expecting daughter. We needed to do some baby furniture shopping. Good thing because it will take 3 months for it to arrive, which will be just at her delivery time...YIKES!!!

We traveled in a gazillion circles around the DFW area looking at about 20 stores, from boutiques to large retailers of everything baby. We accomplished a lot this weekend. We ruled out many things, saw what was out there, asked questions, tried things out, found a high chair & a bouncer she likes, bought a stroller & furniture and found a few cute things for baby to wear. We did not buy everything cute that we saw ;o)
We moved the guest bedroom and cleaned out the nursery getting it ready to paint. Then, we will sit & wait!!! ;o)
Baby was moving, too. She is an active thing!!!

Today I worked at Wayland. Our first big event of the "centennial" school year. It was the unveiling of the Dr. Wayland statue done by Eddie Dixon of Lubbock. I want him to do us a bronze piece. I just can't decide what I want it to be. I'm thinking though!!! It was held in conjunction with the Chamber's Business After Hours event. A nice time was had by all. Of course, Hope and I are pooped! Good night ;o)

As I was getting our second grade Sunday School room ready for promotion Sunday I glanced out the window & guess what? Scrambled eggs! Look at what these resourceful birds used to make the nest for their eggs.
