Today I spent all afternoon on the "line" with either Adobe or Yahoo. I had an FTP connection issue between the two and neither had a problem. I must say that both places answered rather quickly and after going through the "levels" of leadership, I finally made it to the place of knowledge...or person with the knowledge concerning "my" issue! Nice kids on both ends. The guy with Yahoo was more than nice. As a matter of fact...he is the nicest & most helpful techie I have ever experienced. I could understand him, too. For a hard-of-hearing old bitty that is so important! Way to go Ya-Hoooooooo!
I got four orders ready to go this afternoon while I was on & off of hold so, killing two birds with one stone is alive and well today. Multi-tasker that I am, there was a time today that I was hand feeding metallic paper into the printer, typing whatever on the FTP issue on the computer while talking on the phone & my cell phone. Not enough hours in the day, you say?
Tonight we had dinner at Jumbo Joe's. They make a great chicken chef's salad, yum! Try it. I cut the cucumbers, mushrooms & black olives. It has lots of healthy things in it! Very good.
Chrissa is off with Jolene to see the Rockette's. They are such great friends. We are so thankful that Chrissa has had good friends in her years out of our close reach!
Aaron put up his 3 foot Christmas tree we got him. It is a fiber optic with multi color glow. So warm and homey. It will be a welcoming reminder of the love we have for him in his new place. Chrissa and B now have our 7 ft. tree in their new home. We have downsized to no tree and less stress :o) I want to do something with our ornaments but it may be next year. I will gift wrap again this year for Gabriel's (a Dunlap Corp. store) and do my business, too.
If any of you from out of town come to Plainview for the holidays or anytime really. You should visit the Fieldhouse Sandwich shop. Lots of Bulldog history there.
Here is the new playground equipment we put in the Smythe Street Park. Have kids? Come play!
