Isn't it true that how we view it matters? It is a freedom. I happen to view this art installation as a bird over fields. How do you view it? This sculpture is located on mural row between 6th and 7th on Beech Street in Plainview, Texas.

Park Addition

 

Broadway Park offers all-inclusive playground equipment. The playground includes a large accessible play structure, outdoor musical play instruments, swings and a new STEM component known as the Sona Arch. A wonderful addition to Plainview's parks system. Have you had the chance to take your kids there to play? Share your positive responses.

 

 

New Barn

 

Another new building, the greens barn for the city golf course at the Plainview Country Club.

 

Walk of Fame

 

The Hale County Historical Commission was honored to host the Texas Tech Southwest Collection for an oral history time with Plainview great, Lawrence McCutcheon.

Mr. McCutcheon will be honored on the Plainview Walk of Fame on Saturday, October 26, 2024, 10:00 a.m. in front of the historic Fair Theater in Downtown Plainview. Also set to be recognized is Jerry Sisemore.

This reflection on brick caught my eye a week or so ago. It fits the Conrad Loft's east wall perfectly!

 

 

Great Day

 

It was a great day at the Rotary Running Water Draw Arts & Crafts show at the Ollie Liner Center for the Hale County Historical Commission. They will be there all Saturday and Sunday after lunch.
