The new ball park in Regional Running Water Draw Park has taken lots of prep work.

Broadway Park is getting a new play structure installed. It has interactive arches (which are delayed), but it will be so much fun once installed.

Groovy

 

I visited this store two times in my youth. I remember it having tons of "hippie" items—groovy! I did not have money to purchase anything. I would love to visit this store today with the prices of my youth! I loved the screen doors!

A fabulous sterling souvenir spoon was most likely a gift from the newly opened Hotel Ware, located on the corner of 6th Street and Broadway Streets. 

 

 

 

 

This is a photograph of downtown Plainview, Texas, in about 1897. The businesses pictured on the west side of the square include Mrs. M. B. Fowle Dry Goods, Notions, Millinery, etc.; Irick and Dyer Groceries; City Drug Store; Williams Bro's. Cheap Cash Store; and Donohoo and Ware Dry Goods, Boots, Shoes, Groceries, and Hardware.

 

WSAT were the Donohoo-Ware Hardware Companies Call Letters. Their power and wavelength was 20-268.
