Our Chamber of Commerce has the BEST business members. It is led by the executive director, Tonya Kessee and administrative assistant, Reba Bailey. They do a great job coordinating many things that encourage business owner networking and the marketing of Plainview, Texas. The Chamber president this year is Andrea Glenn, of The Rusty Rose, one of Downtown Plainview's premier boutiques.
It has been a trying year, to say the least, but the Chamber has been innovative in their endeavors.
You will find Tonya all around town in the Chamber's Mooooving car, always encouraging and promoting. Yesterday, after a Main Street meeting, I caught her pulling weeds at a downtown business. She is not afraid of hard work or going the extra mile!
