We all know that our community would not exist if we did not have our city and county governments. Within these two government partnerships, many groups keep the wheels turning. Today I want to share a brief explanation of who our key business growth entities are and how we work together from my view as President of the Plainview Downtown Association. A frequently asked question I get is what is the difference between these groups.
I have volunteered in Plainview for over forty years, and we are at the very best time, in my opinion, in the history of Plainview. I say this with the utmost respect for all who have been involved previously, for because of the threads woven through time, we are where we are today. Plainview has always had forward-thinking leaders, from the very earliest days to where we are today. Through the vision of many, Plainview is thriving.
The picture below shows how these groups are all different in the business support system, but how we all come together in support of one another. It truly is an excellent time to live in Plainview, Texas!
