It was a great day for solid rocks. The wind was moving through with wind gusts of about 30-40 MPH (I'm just guessing).
The Rock & Gem Show is going on today until 6 and tomorrow from noon until five, all at the Ollie Liner Center...$3.00 for adults.
Every year I try to attend this show. It is one of my favorite groups that host a local event. Each year, I see Mr. Matlock polishing spheres. I've always wanted one of his shining beauties. They are not for sale at this show, but I do hope to get one one day. Today, he blessed me with this sphere that was too flawed to finish polishing. I am so honored and truly blessed!

Here are a few pictures...

From beautiful jewelry, arrowheads, to solid rocks...a must visit for every age!!!
Then, a solid rock of our community, Mother Essie R. Givens, celebrated her 100th Birthday today. I was blessed to hold the door for her in this wind as she arrived at the Wayland Library. What a joy this woman of God is to her Father!!! We are forever thankful that he placed her in our community!

Then, the Queens, Pioneer basketball and baseball teams won today...playing solid! A pretty great Saturday if you ask me!!!
