This postcard was sold as a Plainview, Texas downtown view card. I don't see it as fitting in, but you take a look and see what you think. This is at the corner of 6th and Broadway looking north up Broadway. The first 2 building are still the same including the chimney on the red brick building. The windows have been updated in the first building 'King Carpet'. There was a fire in the 70's that destroyed one of next 3 stores, I don't remember one. I think it was Ziegler Music, I know it was a 2 story. the next 3 store fronts have been updated from the Photograph. The next to the last building on the block still has the design in the brick. The last building has been painted but the architectural feathers are still the same.
