Phone Books

 

I find it a bit sad that phone books were pushed away from being historical data by the technology of mobile devices. Do you remember how thorough phone books were? I mean, anyone who had a phone was listed. Businesses advertised there. The covers were pictures of the community. Ahhh, the days!

I came across a fun collection of Plainview phone books from 1951-1973. A few years are missing, but a good covering of Plainview data!
