This little building is the building that could...it thinks it can, it thinks it can...be beautiful again!  It is getting a facelift!

Today my eyes to see saw two great window/mirror kind of pictures. That's almost unheard of :O)

Tonight as we walked the sky looked like kids were riding dirt bikes through the clouds. So fun!

Gold, Orange, & Green ...

Gold, orange, & green. These are a few of my favorite things. Fall is in the air. The leaves are changing. We have cool mornings and evenings with the sun warming our days. Nowhere else I would rather be than God's will and Plainview . Texas.

Radiator Shop ...

I was talking to a friend about stripping metal pieces and she was talking about needing to sandblast the piece. I said, we always took our metal beds and pieces to the radiator shop to be dip stripped. It was so easy. Of course, their vat size determined what could be dipped.

Growing up and helping my grandparents at the "commodity house," located on Broadway Street next to the bus depot, I spent many hours walking Broadway Street. Walking the street and some stripping??? LoL

As I would walked south, I had to pass the radiator shop, Stovall-Boher Radiator Shop. In later years it became Stovall Radiator and the sign moved to a 5th Street location.

HB2U ARTWALK PLAINVIEW ...

ARTWALK PLAINVIEW celebrated its 1st birthday this evening on Broadway. It was a beautiful Fall evening. A very diverse selection which is great. Several businesses were open for shopping, as well. A slight crowd this evening but still downtown Plainview was buzzing!!!

Remodel ...

Not only is I-27 getting a facelift within the Plainview city limits, so is this I-27 & 70 intersection business...

Park Improvements ...

The City of Plainview Parks crew is building pic-nick table shade in several parks. How nice to be able to sit in the shade since we have lost so many trees because of the drought. The bad and good in a situation. We sure hate to lose trees but we can provide a different kind of covering. It won't be as cool as tree shade but it will be cooler than direct sun. Thank you City of Plainview!!!
