My Saturday...

Today I got a deluxe pedicure.  I just wanted to sit and read in a massage chair and get pretty painted toes.  This is the first time I have ever had them work out the pressure points on the bottom of my feet...to the point that it really hurt.  Afterwards it felt really good.  I felt better.  I liked the pain for gain!

Did a little grocery shopping.  Need to decide where to get my prescriptions moved to since Pinnell's is closing.  Ugh!!!

When someone invites us to something we need to communicate with them whether we will or won't be able to attend...called an RSVP.  Come on people!!!

So, you are saying..."put on your big girl panties & deal with it" are ya?  (modeling a gift that someone gave me )LOL

Going to eat jalapeno poppers & not sure what else for dinner.  I want an Awesome Blossom, but no one here in Plainview makes them.  Oh well, I'm not cooking and that is good I think!

I finally met Dr. Tim, our F.B.C. pastor.  I was giving everyone who likes to tell people about me plenty of time to get their two cents in before I met him!  LOL  Like when I met the Plainview city manager.  He said, "Oh, I've heard ALL about you", in a tone that told me it wasn't all rosy! ;o) All is good though because when God leads me into a project I'm never concerned with the whispers from those who doubt. :O)

    Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for the privilege of coming before You humbly and interceding on behalf of my children. Keep their hearts tender and sensitive to Your voice. Give them a love for Your Word and willing hearts to obey it. Help them to desire to walk before You in righteousness all the days of their lives. May they grow in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord. Give them a heart of compassion and concern for the lost and the wounded. Lead them to a place of service in Your kingdom’s work.
