God's servants: The Holy Bible
I want to share with you a book that continues to be my source for living. Is it the best book I have ever read? It is the Book of all books and I learn from God's word each time I open it. Through trials, sorrow, joy and triumph, God's Living Word leads me. I am nothing without my Salvation and my Teacher. He holds me in the palm of his hands when I am weak and is the spring in my step when I am strong, He is my strength. Do you have the peace that comes with Jesus? I cannot rate the Bible for it is above all; the best story ever told and full of many lessons to learn!!! A good read, no, a GREAT read!!! Read on my friend...
Nicholas Sparks: Safe Haven
This was a pretty eventfull book. Lots going on in it...in a good way. I loved the love found between the characters.
Billy Coffey: Snow Day: A Novel
This book is this authors first and I loved it. It has life lessons at every turn. I'll call it a dad's story, but it is a book for everyone. I certainly look forward to his next book!

Friday...

I could not go to sleep last night. This happens pretty often. It was 3 a.m. before I felt tired. I went to bed, but sleep was restless. Up this morning and cleaned and organized the shed. Love doing that!

Cleaned out the car. I don't like doing that. There is always little specks of stuff that I have to really work to vacuum up! Looks much better though.

Went to Suddenlink to ask a question. Wow, they are busy on Friday afternoons. Got my answer, nice employee.

Took my mom and Robert to Lubbock to watch her great-grandson play basketball. Took Clinton to El Chico, well we went, too! Our favorite place!

Back home now, I'm tired. I think I'll try and play catch-up on sleep!

Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for the privilege of coming before You humbly and interceding on behalf of my children. Keep their hearts tender and sensitive to Your voice. Give them a love for Your Word and willing hearts to obey it. Help them to desire to walk before You in righteousness all the days of their lives. May they grow in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord. Give them a heart of compassion and concern for the lost and the wounded. Lead them to a place of service in Your kingdom’s work. Lord, send a guardian angel to watch over their going out and their coming in, and lead them not into temptation, but deliver them from the evil one. Send enough rain to keep them dependent on You but enough sun to give them hope and encouragement. And, Lord, when they’re standing at the crossroads trying to decide which path to take, put a person of faith there to point them in the right direction. Thank You for Your blessing. You provision, and Your great love for my children. I ask this prayer in the name of the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit.
