This old, old hutch was given to us when we moved into our home over 15 years ago by my grandmother Etter. I have shared with you before that she gave me her family Americana Fostoria when I was a teen. It did not mean so much then as it did a few years later. I don't use it like I use to. Seems we don't entertain as much or maybe we just use paper dishes more when we do.
I still cherish the gift of her sweet gift of these dishes and the gift of this beautiful piece of furniture. More than having them, I cherish that she gave them to me and the time we spent shopping together for the hutch. PRICELESS!

I asked permission to blog this picture and a couple more of our son. I love this picture of his peacefulness.
Look how green that water is! Yes, I remember growing up in a lake nearly every weekend when the weather permitted! This shot is special...it is just a beautiful shot!
I love the happiness in the faces on this shot of him and Lynds. Lakes will do that to ya. Something special about nature! Thank you God for this beauty!!!

The mini cupcake maker took first place in my Fresh Find search today. Looks like it would be a fun gift for Christmas for kids to share cooking time with their parents!
