What a day...

What a day!  Today was just beautiful here.  The temperature was wonderful as I did a little work around outside.

I used an electric paint sprayer for the first time.  Amazingly easy, but pretty messy!  Good thing I had prepared for it.  I taped plastic along the back of the house and windows and covered the patio.  Then I placed the 12 pieces of patio furniture on it and used two gallons of paint to spray it.  Lots of holes and curves!

Then, I painted the pole that holds the bird feeder.  That pole is VERY special because my grandfather, Bo, made it for us.  I hope it lasts forever cause it makes me feel good when I see it! :O)

I then moved to the front with the spray paint.  The kind that you can use on plastics.  I needed to paint the two rockers on the porch and their foot rests.  First they needed a good cleaning.  Got that done and while they dried it was on to planting 5 vines.  I had fixed their crawl up wall last week.

After planting (still need to get some top soil) I got the rockers and stools sprayed.  Yeah!

Pulled a couple of dead plants up, and gathered some trash that some disrespect threw out their car window ;o)

Then, it was clean-up time.  Got the sprayer all cleaned and oiled.  Filled the dumpster with the plastic (sorry neighbors ;o), then got me cleaned up.  I did have a significant amount of paint specks on me. LOL 

Next, I was off to my mom's to help her do a few things she needed help with.  Dropped off some items at the Salvation Army after I left her house and delivered a gift to a friend.  Did not make it to the lumber yard in time for my wood I need.  Tomorrow!
