Remember when we would go into a feed store and get a baby chick or a baby duck for Easter? Along time ago, in the days of the now elderly, we could get colored chicks. Now, now...I'm not being discriminatory here...we really could get chicks of color...purple, orange, green, etc.
Today I stopped at Gebo's to get a wire round brush and a wire brush. While I was in there I picked up a name tag for our son's new dog, Leviathan.

Then I got a call that turned out to be lengthy so I walked around the store as I was holding and look what I saw...

You know I love to take something meant for one thing and find another use for it. I found these great paint filter cones. PERFECT for creating your own party hats!!! So very easy and fun. I made a baseball/softball one to show you. These filter/cones are .19 cents each. I then took some scrap-booking stickers and wha-la...a party hat with a theme!
