Aunt Pet...

This is my Aunt Pet.  Born Mary Gertrude Dayton, I'm not sure how she got the name Aunt Pet.  I just know I called her Aunt Pet and she was a mess!  I loved her.  She was the 5th child of 11 and was my dad's older sister.  Oh, that is Uncle Ernie Holloway over to the side.

This picture is from the time my parents let me go to her home for a week.  I had a blast.  We listened to old records and just sat around doing nothing.  I went to her beauty shop appointment with her and visited with her friends there.  We went shopping.  It was just a trip I remember with fondness!
