July 4th & friends...

Today was a great July 4th.

We got to see some really great people.  Like Dr. Karrh.  I wish he lived closer.  Saw Kara and her new baby.  8 weeks old and a precious little boy!  Kristan was here, too.  It was good to see them.  The Gibbs were in from Lubbock.  Moving to College Station.  It may be their last July 4th in Plainview!!!  Maybe not?

Talked to Pat Smith for a long while.  I rarely see her, but she is one of my favorite people! Her mom was our Acteens leader and is so special in my life!

Saw Todd, Patrick, Lauren & Ryan...the "kids" and they are the sweetest.  Didn't recognize Mr. Patrick.  He had some facial hair going on and has filled out...barely!  Always one of my favorites in junior literacy.

Had fun visiting with the Helms who were here visiting with Carolyn & Danny.  They are such sweet people. 

Many others that it was good to see.

Anyway, a fun day!
